Although a smaller turnout by us this time, we still managed to take home 17 medals.
Not really a traditional tournament, there was some demonstrations by the assembled black belts pointing out to the students the various differences in styles, some major and some not so obvious.
A kata demonstration of Bassai Dai by Mr John Nelson, 2nd dan, Shito Ryu, and Steve Harvey, Shodan, Shotokan, again showed some variations in the same kata by differing styles. All said, an enjoyable experience for the ones that attended.
