We are a small club with a big heart in Pawnee, Illinois about 15 miles south of the state capital Springfield. We strive to uphold the karate ideals laid down by master Gichin Funakoshi, founder of Shotokan and father of modern karate.
We have students ranging in ages from 7 to over 50, so karate really is for everyone regardless of age and ability.

We are also members of the ITKO (IllinoisTraditional Karate Organization) headed by sensei Brian Evans, 6th dan. The ITKO is recognized by the WTKO (World Traditional Karate Organization International) with members in over 23 countries. The WTKO Executive Director is Sensei John Mullin, 7th dan, a world renowned and respected teacher.

You are welcome to drop by the club any Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday evening, you never know, you may want to try it.
